Advertising Experts on Facebook's New Advertising Platforms

1. Facebook has never been the place for advertisers to showcase stunning visuals. Instead, Facebook has forced advertisers to become more like marketers and focus on words. The new ad platform reinforces this trend, drawing content from newsfeed posts rather than copy written independently.

2. The new ads will be seamlessly integrated into whole Facebook experience. I’m curious to see how clearly Facebook will label ads as ads, but suffice it to say that the new platform will dramatically expand a brand’s visibility. The goal seems to be for users to view brands less as companies and more as friends.
